Shopmobility

Our Shopmobility programme exists to help those with reduced mobility enjoy the facilities that our town has to offer.

ACA have a fleet of 3 motorised scooters and 4 manual wheelchairs, available for hire from the Community Centre. These vehicles are maintained with funding from EHDC, otherwise the programme is completely self -sufficient.

You can telephone to book a scooter for a specific day and time or if required for a longer period. You can also just turn up and take a scooter into town to do your shopping if one is available. Please phone 01420 85057 and our friendly staff will be happy to help you.
